Abstract

Formulation of the problem in this study how the influence of the application of Cooperative Learning Strategy Model The Learning Cell and Mind Mapping for mathematics learning, outcomes of students in class XI IPA SMA 2 Padang Panjang. While the research question is how the activity of teachers, activities and student learning outcomes using the model with the Co-operative learning strategies The Learning Cell and Mind Mapping in class XI IPA SMA 2 Padang Panjang, and whether the model with the Co-operative learning strategies The Learning Mind Mapping Cell and significant influence against the learning outcomes of students in learning mathematics in class XI IPA SMA 2 Padang Panjang. The hypothesis in this study were found to significantly influence the outcome of students studying mathematics at approximately 50 Statistics material point after the application of Cooperative learning model with strategy The Learning Cell and Mind Mapping in class XI IPA SMA 2 Padang Panjang school year 2011/2012. This type of research is experimental research with the study design One Group Pretestposttest design (Minimal Control). The study population was a class XI student of SMAN 2 Padang Panjangyang IPA consists of five classes. Selected sample is XI IPA 3 grade students chosen at random sampling. Analysis to see the influence of Co-operative learning model with strategy The Learning Cell and Mind Mapping used the t test using the data in the form of pretest and posttest results on the experimental class. Based on the analysis, with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) rates obtained tCount = 4.7464> 1708 = ttable stating that the application of the model with the Co-operative learning strategies the Learning Mind Mapping Cell and significant influence on student learning outcomes in mathematics learning . Based on the results showed that the learning process by applying the model to the Cooperative learning strategies The Learning Cell and Mind Mapping progress tends toward the good.
