Abstract
This research aims to analyze the strength of the frame of a food waste bone crushing machine with a capacity of 10 Kg using Solidwork 2018 with the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Method. The collection of food waste bone waste must be managed optimally. To reduce excessive accumulation, a food waste bone crushing machine is needed. Based on the results of the analysis of frame strength calculations using Solid Work 2018 software, 3 analysis results were obtained, stress analysis is an analysis used to see the pressure on the frame. So the analysis obtained the yield strength value with the highest value of 1.281x10² N/m², which means that the machine frame is safe to use. Displacement is carried out to understand the movement or change in shape of the frame under applied pressure. This analysis is important to ensure that deforms remain within specified limits and do not cause functional problems in the design. Displacement value is safe because the maximum number is 5.713x10ˉ² mm. This analysis explains that the maximum displacement can be seen in the red part, while the minimum displacement can be seen in the blue part. Meanwhile, the safety of factor is used to see the suitability of the frame for the design of the food waste bone crushing machine. The safety factor is a factor used to determine the security level of a frame, and the security value levels start from 2-stroke up. Keywords: food waste bone crushing machine, solidwork simulation. Bone size, optimal design, skeletal strength
