Abstract
Siska Ratu Eldiya. 2022. "Application of Group Guidance on Honest Behavior of Children at the Wira Lisna Orphanage at Spring Padang Selatan". Thesis of Bimbingan Konseling Islam Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. This research is motivated because there are still foster children of the Wira Lisna orphanage who do not have honest behavior. This can be seen from the routine activities of the Wira Lisna orphanage children. For this reason, group guidance is needed for Wira Lisna orphanage children, because with this guidance they can provide knowledge and change the behavior of Wira Lisna orphanage children. Group guidance is one way to carry out guidance and counseling service activities to help solve problems that exist in foster children in orphanages. The research method used is a quantitative study using a pre-experimental design method of type one group pretest-posttest on the honest behavior of the Wira Lisna Orphanage. This one group pretest-posttest design consists of one predetermined group. In this design, the test was carried out twice, namely before being given treatment it was called a pretest and after treatment it was called a posttest. The results of this study are 1) The percentage of posttest scores after the implementation of group guidance is better than the pretest scores without any group guidance treatment. 2) The average value has increased after the implementation of group guidance is better than the pretest score without any group guidance treatment. 3) After analyzing the results of the standard deviation test, it is concluded that the distribution of the data at the time of the pretest has a good representation or distribution of data. 4) The application of the group method can affect the honesty of foster children at the Wira Lisna orphanage. This can be seen after the implementation of the pretest and posttest obtained through the results of the t-test - 4.009 < ttable,0.683 and the significant level is below 0.005.
