Abstract
This study presents the design of a food waste bone crushing machine with a capacity of 10kg which aims to overcome the urgent problem of managing food waste bones. Food waste poses significant environmental and social challenges, requiring innovative solutions for effective disposal and recycling. The proposed machine offers a practical and efficient way to reduce food waste by crushing food waste bones into reusable material or organic compost. In addition, the machine capacity of 10 kg makes it suitable for handling bone waste and other food waste. The results from the food waste bone crushing machine show that the bone waste capacity 10 kg, and the minimum finesess level is 2 mm and maximum is 5 mm. The motor power required to operate this machine is 575,232 watts with a rotational speed of 1400 rpm and a torque of 65,487 Nm. By optimizing the crushing process and improving the quality of the crushed waste so that it becomes more effective. Keywords: Food waste bone crushing machine, bone, waste.
