Abstract

ABSTRACT Daily activities start from bathing, drinking, cooking, washing clothes, washing dishes. through a location survey in the service zone of Perumda Tirta Jam Gadang City of Bukittinggi, namely the Kubang Putih service zone serving with a pumping system having an installed capacity of 6 l/d supplied with 75 mm PVC pipe, 50mm GIP pipe and 37.5mm GIP pipe. The Kubang Putih residential service area in this area has a network that is 25 years old, the number of subscribers is 221 House Connections (SR). This type of research is qualitative-quantitative. The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of the clean water distribution pipeline network in the white kubang housing Perumda Tirta Jam Gadang Drinking Water, Bukittinggi City using the Epanet 2.2 simulation. Data on usage patterns in the Kubang Putih housing complex were obtained from recording discharge with the main water meter for 14 hours which aims to determine fluctuations in customer water usage in the distribution pipeline network. From the results of the main water meter readings, it is known that the total discharge for 14 operational hours entered the Kubang Putih housing distribution network with an average inout discharge of 3.4 liters/sec and an average output discharge of 1.51 liters/sec with 146 uses. 88 liters/person/day. The very large output discharge is an indication of a high level of leakage in the Kubang Putih residential service area. Keywords : Water, Natural resources, Pipes, Debit
