Abstract
Mifka Megi Febri Yanti NIM 1806002015028 “Implementation of individual counseling services in improving patients healing motivation at „Aisyiyah Padang General Hospital” Thesis. Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Islam, Fakultas Agama Islam, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat This research is motivated by the phenomena found in the „Aisyiyah Padang General Hospital. So that is makes the patient‟s motivation less in an effort to recover from the disease. With this kind of condition, it is necessary to carry out individual counseling guidance for patients in increasing their motivation to recover. While the purpose of this search is to know the implementation of individual counseling services as well as the supporting and inhibiting factorsm in increasing motivation of the patient‟s recovery. The research method used is descriptive qualitative type. The subjects of this study were concertists and patients. Method of taking research subjects using non-probability sampling technique with unidental sampling approach. This research was conducted at „AisyiyahPadang General Hospital, which is located at Jl. Agus Salim No.6 Padang City The study was condicted in an inpatient room with four oatients and one concertist at informants. The data collection method used observation, interview and documentation teshniques. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of individual counseling services in the aspect of moving, encouraging and supporting the motivation of the patient‟s recovery is carried out by providing spiritual guidance on thaharah, prayer, prayer and dhikr. Supporting factors for individual counseling services in increasing the motivation to heal patient‟s are positive responses from patients, using audio, print media (famlets), while the inhibiting factors are rejection from patients, lack of time duration due to limited concert staff and difficulties in performing.
