Abstract
Ade Jihan Suryani NIM: 1806002015001. "Santri's Perception of Counseling Guidance Services at the Sumatra Thawalib Islamic Boarding School, Bukittinggi Agam". Thesis of Program Studi Bimbingan Konseling Islam, Fakultas Agama Islam, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. This research is motivated because of the tight schedule of learning and counseling guidance services do not enter the classroom regularly, not all students who receive individual counseling guidance services, and not all students who receive information from counseling guidance services, it creates positive perceptions and negative perceptions of students towards services. counseling guidance. The problem of this research is how the students' perceptions of counseling guidance services are seen in the cognitive, affective and conative aspects. The implementation of research on students' perceptions of counseling guidance services uses quantitative research with quantitative descriptive methods. The population and sample of this study were students at the Sumatra Thawalib Islamic Boarding School, Parabek, Bukittinggi with a random sampling type of probability sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire with a total of 155 people. The instrument used in this study is a perception scale that has been compiled and has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is using the formula p=f/nx100. The results of data analysis obtained by this description are 1) On the cognitive aspect, the perception of students towards counseling guidance services at the Sumatran Thawalib Islamic Boarding School in Parabek Bukittinggi is on average in the positive category. 2) on the affective aspect, the students' perception of counseling guidance services at the Islamic boarding school in Sumatra, Thawalib, Parabek, Bukittinggi, on average, is in the positive category. 3) On the conative aspect, students' perceptions of counseling guidance services at the Islamic boarding school in Sumatra, Thawalib, Parabek, Bukittinggi, on average, are in the positive category. Based on the results of the calculation and the percentage of scores obtained by the three aspects of students' perceptions of counseling guidance services at the Sumatran Thawalib Islamic Boarding School, Parabek Bukittinggi, there are still some things that are less positive and counseling services need to be carried out to increase students' perceptions of counseling guidance services.
